In 2018, we launched Incubator ZW under our first training project Her Story. The productionwas a part of an initiative by British Council, Zimbabwe Goethe Institute Alliance Francaisede Bulawayo to promote more work by female creatives. Founder of the Incubator ZW, Maria Vera Chisvo was one of the successful applicants with an idea called HerStory which selected young female artists to participate in an innovative, new and exciting performance concept.

In 2019 the hub collaborated with Arts Hub, based in Bulawayo, to host a Disability Arts and Culture Project (DACP) music campus at Music Crossroads Academy. The creatives had a week to receive training, network and collaborate with other creatives. DACP promoted the artistic collaboration, creative expression and cultural dialogue using music. The aim was to create synergies between young artists of different backgrounds to work together.The training saw the production of two singles and multiple collaborations between the artists. The unique performance was a cross sector showcase where poetry (The Words), music (The Voice) and choreography (The Dance) which met in an intrinsic web of high quality creativity.It was the amalgamation of the experiences females in Zimbabwe go through and creatively explores the various aesthetics to deal with these experiences.
